I am Earth – a mother to every being!

Blue and green were the colors i wore,

The creator’s creation, flora and fauna to decore.

Mountains, oceans forests and trees,

Rivers, waterfalls , streams and fragrant breeze.

Merely a small stage of vast cosmic arena,

Priviledged to harbor life nurturing every persona.

Drenched in downpour of love with every moonsoon shower,

Felt humid, oppressively hot when summer’s in power.

Hiding under the blanket of snow , the winter chills,

Reincarnating with spring, the beauty and elegance thrills.

Endured every act of cruelty, returned kindness always,

Silent screamy protestive at times, potraying emotions in many ways.

Yet the motherhood i bear, responsibility to foster all and everything.

I am Earth – sustainer, preserver , a mother to every being.
